Chinese Ambassador Lin Xianjiang pays a courtesy call on Dominican Prime Minister

On November 22, 2021, H.E. Lin Xianjiang, new Chinese Ambassador to Dominica paid a courtesy call on Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and pragmatic cooperation.

Ambassador Lin conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from Premier Li Keqiang to the Prime Minister, saying over the past 17 years of diplomatic relations, China and Dominica have enjoyed a steady development of bilateral relations, achieved fruitful results in pragmatic cooperation, strengthened the bond of peoples and maintained close coordination in international affairs. He also pledged to make new contributions to the enhancement of China-Dominica friendship.

Prime Minister Skerrit asked Ambassador Lin to convey warm greetings and best wishes to Premier Li Keqiang, and welcomed Ambassador Lin to his new post. The Prime Minister spoke highly of the Dominica-China relations, calling China a reliable true friend of Dominica, and gave the assurance of adherence to the one China policy and continued efforts to enhance pragmatic cooperation and advance bilateral relations. He also pledged to offer support and assistance to Ambassador Lin as the two sides work together to make greater progress in China-Dominica relations.
